Day After Yesterday

We have put up 26 gallons of paint or something close to that since friday. EVERY wall has been painted aside from a bathroom, a closet, and the laundry room. Those will be done tomorrow. Empire comes wednesday. Our parents have been a huge help. The house rules and will rule even more in the coming future. Lots of color.

Robyn will be helping tomorrow as well as rebecca’s parents. Too bad I can’t find any hardwood flooring, but oh well. It is coming along well. Pics to follow soon.

so I totally forgot to mention that on saturday, when we were moving the family people all around, I was bored… and there was a kit in the garage… and so I went out into the yard to fly it.

I have been talking about kite flying for a while now, but I hadn’t actually got a kite, which incidentally, a key part. So I was able to get the kite up with virtually no energy exertion at all, the wind was very nice. And it stayed up no problem. It was a normal, simple single line kite. I think I want one of those fancy 2 line ones where you can make it do tricks. We shall see. But man, it was fun. I enjoyed it.

Which is weird, as you would think it would get old after about 15 min. I took a camera phone pic. I should get that online…

can be a pain… but moving companies rule. We helped rebecca’s family move her grandparents and aunt and cousin into a new place… all we had to move was the small boxes… but still annoying… I would love to hire a moving company… although I doubt I will spend the money.
